About this product
The EOS R50 V is designed around video creators rather than photographers. It drops the viewfinder to save size and adds the things vloggers actually use: a tally lamp so you know you're recording, a tripod socket on the side for vertical reels, a dedicated record button on top and a zoom lever.
It shares the R50's 24.2MP sensor and reliable face and eye tracking, and records 4K up to 30p uncropped (4K 60p with a crop), with Canon Log 3 for grading. The RF-S 14-30mm power-zoom kit lens is wide enough for arm's-length selfies and smooth zooms on video.
Choose the R50 V if you film more than you photograph. If you want a viewfinder for stills, pick the regular R50.
