The Nikon Z5 II. It has a full-frame sensor for low light, dual SD card slots for backup, in-body stabilisation and reliable eye autofocus. The Canon EOS R8 is lighter and stronger for video but has a single card slot.
An APS-C body such as the Canon EOS R10 or Sony a6400 with a fast prime (30–56mm f/1.4) and a bounce flash. It works for second shooting and small functions; upgrade to full-frame when you can.
For paid work, strongly recommended. Recording every photo to two cards protects you if one card fails.
